Books of memory: Leningrad Blockade 1941-1944

On 23 November 2012 the Bodleian Libraries received a special gift from the Association of Survivors of the Leningrad blockade – a set of 35 volumes of the Knigi pamiati: Blokada Leningrad 1941-1944 (“Books of memory: Leningrad Blockade 1941-1944”).
This remarkable historical document provides essential biographical data about the victims of the 900-day siege and will be kept on the open shelves of the Taylor Bodleian Slavonic Library, 47 Wellington Square, Oxford.
