The SCRSS Soviet Collections are a library and archive of the arts, humanities and social sciences of the Soviet Union (1917-91). Established in 1924 in London, the research collections include publications in Russian and English, images and other artefacts on Soviet art and architecture, music, theatre, cinema and children’s literature – from predominantly Soviet publishers. The collections are held by the Society for Co-operation in Russian & Soviet Studies. They include rare materials from the 1920s-40s, as well as the Society’s archive records and a number of personal collections.
Research rates have been reduced from 1 September 2015 – see www.scrss.org.uk/Documents/SCRSS_ResearchFees_TCs.pdf for fees, terms & conditions. For more information about the SCRSS Soviet Collections, download the researcher leaflet at www.scrss.org.uk/Documents/SCRSS_ResearchLeaflet.pdf.
